In that packet, a letter from homeowner Peter Scott, who attended the controversial hearing, urged censure. … “Please sit him down and teach him how to deal politely with others,” Scott wrote. … But Daly on Monday provided a transcript of an earlier message from Scott to his office in which Scott apologized for the “mob mentality” of the crowd at the hearing and affirmed his support for Daly and the supervisor’s efforts to protect housing. … Reached late Monday afternoon, Scott said he was embarrassed to have taken both sides. … “His behavior was really bad,” Scott said. “Later on I thought, ‘How does it feel to have a whole room booing and hissing you?’ If that was typical behavior [by Daly] I’d say censure, if it was aberrant, I’d say not.” …
