So, Safeway has this great promotion where they give you gas discounts at their stations based on how many groceries you buy with their club card. But what if instead of a fixed discount (usually 10 cents, 3 if you’re simply a club member), they made it random? 3 cents sometimes, 10 cents, 50 cents – and what if a few luck people got gas at 1 cent PER GALLON?
